Product Review: L'Oreal Voluminous Volume Building Mascara

One of my favorite makeup products to try is definitely mascara. This might be because I can compare them so easily compared to other products. I have an entire drawer of just mascaras because I am forever searching for the newest, amazing mascara that is going to make me look so much more glamorous or just in general pretty. HAHA
Now, I am well aware that every person has different hopes with what they want their mascara to do for their eyelashes. I honestly have two. I want one mascara to just give me natural looking lashes that have length and volume. I have found that mascara: Covergirl Super Sizer Mascara. I have that mascara in both brown and black because I love it so much. It does everything I want it to do to create a "natural" look.
My second request I have for mascara is the dark "dramatic" look. I use this when going out and just on days I want to give a little bit more to my makeup look. I have yet to find that perfect mascara. So far, the L'Oreal Voluminous Volume Building mascara has come the closest to what I want. It still hasn't wowed me like the Covergirl one did but it is pretty impressive.
I chose this mascara because Jaclyn Hill swears by it and as we all know, I swear by Jaclyn Hill. Though, in this case, it really wasn't what I was truly looking for. The mascara I tried before this was the Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir mascara. This one was WAYY too clumpy for me. I use it sometimes just to get that kind of look but for the money I spent, it wasn't worth it.
I think that the next mascara I am going to try for this look might be the Lancome Hynose Mascara. I've heard great things about that one as well. Do you have any recommendations for drugstore mascaras that could possibly give me the look I want? Even if you have high end recommendations please recommend them?
As we all know, I will forever be looking for better mascara product!!!
Do you do this with any other makeup products or is this just me? Maybe for highlighters or foundation?
